Family hotel in Zandvoort: by the sea with children

When you head to the sea with children, above all you want it to be easy: one room where everyone fits, the beach around the corner and plenty to do when it rains. Ocean House Zandvoort is a small hotel on the quiet side of the village, less than a 10-minute walk from the beach. The family room
The family room consists of two separate spaces: a main bedroom with two single beds and a second room with two separate beds. That way parents and children sleep in the same room, but each in their own space. For the smallest guest we put in a cot free of charge, so the room is suitable for five people. The bathroom has a marble look, a rain shower and underfloor heating.

Things to do with children in Zandvoort
The beach is, of course, the main attraction. Visit Zandvoort also mentions, among others:
- Het Geheim van Zandvoort — an art and culture walk through the village with questions for children; you hand in the answer sheet at the Zandvoorts Museum, about a 6-minute walk from the hotel.
- Klimparadijs at Center Parcs — indoor climbing, also for those not staying at the park. Great in bad weather.
- World of Dinos "The Expedition" — an indoor, interactive dinosaur experience.
- Manege de Baarshoeve — a riding school in the dunes, close to the beach.
- Linnaeushof in Heemstede — according to Visit Zandvoort, the largest playground in Europe.

Practical information
- Check-in and check-out: check-in from 15:00, check-out until 11:00. You can always drop off your luggage earlier.
- By train: Zandvoort aan Zee station is a 12-minute walk away. Handy with children and luggage: no need to park.
- By car: the De Zuid car park is 850 metres from the hotel; paid parking applies on the street.
